i was introduced to la mer watches through a very chic french friend of mine.  they truly have a style and colour for everyone, while maintaining a sense of exclusivity.  what's even bettter, is, that most of their watches run under $100 (amazing given that each watch is handmade in ann arbor (yeah, the one in michigan)).  an added extra bonus is that the designer is a university of michigan grad (she actually created the watches her senior year and began selling them at poshh.
