{design} the East Village duplex of Brad Goldfarb and Alfredo Paredes

When two incredibly stylish gay men decide to make a home together, you best believe it's gonna be the fiercest space on the block {or in the co-op}.  This definitely rings true for the "are you kidding me" duplex of this creative power couple {Brad's a writer; Alfredo - executive VP and chief creative officer (natch) for Polo Ralph Lauren (double natch)}.  Not only is their duplex crazy huge, but it's also full of everything I didn't even know I needed til now {I can't believe I never thought to use an easel to display my TV}.  Thanks to Architechtural Digest, we can all lust over this uber chic East Village wonderland...

The duo collaborated with Michael Neumann (worth every penny)
large-scale work on paper by Richard Serra, and the (lg) tv on an easel that I'm dying over
painting by Pat Steir

Sid, the couple’s Labrador retriever (who I bet is more well trained than even the Dog Whisperer's pups)

...and we also have a terrace

bluestone countertops from Alan Court & Assoc

armoire repurposed into a desk...and Sid

mirrored bathtub -- or chrome bathtub -- or same thing??

yes...this is in Manhattan. in the reaaaaaly expensive part.

  2. Hi there! I understand this is sort of off-topic but I had to ask.
Does building a well-established blog like yours take
a large amount of work? I'm completely new to running a blog but I do write in my diary every day. I'd like to start a blog so I can share my own
experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any
kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate
    it!

  4. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had
    to tell someone!
