it's been a long time mi amigos {my total take from dos years of spanish}.  too long.  especially now since my editors {whom i might add are just some of the most stellar people in the world} are linking my articles to this blog.  it's time to be serious. tomorrow.  for tonight, i'm gonna play my "but it's christmas" card {which expires shortly...i was starting to worry i wouldn't be able to use it}.  plus, i have a handsome gentleman and a bottle of some very expensive red wine waiting for me.  so...for tonight, you're gonna have to suffice with this...

i'm bAaaaack!!
this summers' writing political commentary left much to be desired as far as my personal blog was concerned.  however...it did inspire an idea.  onthevraydar, this blog right here that right now you are reading, will be a little more all encompassing {fashion news, politics, environment, culture, etc}.  i've created a new blog {the little eiffel/le petite eiffel} inspired by a pixies song.  this blog will be much more about fashion, art, and music.  i'm super excited about the future of both.

i was introduced to la mer watches through a very chic french friend of mine.  they truly have a style and colour for everyone, while maintaining a sense of exclusivity.  what's even bettter, is, that most of their watches run under $100 (amazing given that each watch is handmade in ann arbor (yeah, the one in michigan)).  an added extra bonus is that the designer is a university of michigan grad (she actually created the watches her senior year and began selling them at poshh. (if you don't know what that store is, get thee to ann arbor now and check it out)).
